The Wolves got off to a strong start in game one, as Carson Schmidt launched a two-run home run in the first inning. After Crowder scored once in the second, MCC responded with another two-run frame, highlighted by an RBI single from Luke Meredith. The Roughriders then put together four runs over the next three innings to take a one-run lead. MCC answered with an RBI single from Jackson Bell to tie the game, but Crowder pulled away with two-run home runs in both the sixth and seventh innings, securing a 9–5 win in game one.
Game two began as a pitchers' duel, with MCC starter Lucas Cross allowing just two hits through the first three innings. The Wolves gave him early support in the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Eden Myers. Crowder's offense broke through in the fourth, scoring seven runs to take control of the game. MCC struggled to generate offense, and the Roughriders added six more runs in the seventh to put the game out of reach, handing the Wolves a 13–1 loss.
