Sunday, March 8
Game 1
Mineral Area struck early, scoring three runs in the first inning. The Wolves answered in a big way as catcher Jude Greaves launched a three-run home run to tie the game. Both teams traded home runs as the Cardinals built a 6–4 lead. In the sixth inning, Wade Mann crushed a home run to even the score at 6–6 and send the game to extra innings. In the eighth, Mineral Area's offense broke through with seven runs to pull away for a 13–6 win.
Game 2
MCC struck first with a leadoff home run by Carter Belton. Mineral Area answered with a solo shot to tie the game, but the Wolves regained the lead on an RBI single from Jude Greaves. In the following inning, Luke Meredith added a solo home run, and Brandon Moore later extended the lead with an RBI double. MCC kept the Cardinals in check thanks in large part to a stellar five-inning relief appearance from Wade Mann as he allowed just one hit while striking out eight. The Wolves went on to win the final game of the series 4–1.
