MCC closed out its regular season home schedule with a home-and-home series against Region 16 rival North Central Missouri.
Game 1
The Wolves jumped out to an early lead, scoring four runs in the first inning. North Central responded with three runs in the top of the third, but MCC answered with two runs in the bottom half to make it 6-4. Each team added a run over the next three innings, bringing the score to 7-5. The Pirates battled back with three runs in the seventh to tie the game, then added another in the eighth. MCC was unable to respond, falling 8-7.
Game 2
North Central got on the board first with three runs in the second inning. MCC answered with two runs in the bottom half before the Pirates added another run in the third. The Wolves responded in a big way, scoring five runs in the inning to take the lead. MCC added three more in the fifth to extend the advantage to 10-4. North Central cut the deficit to two with four runs across the fifth and sixth innings, but MCC answered with two insurance runs in the sixth and held on for a 12-8 victory.
Game 3
The Pirates struck first with three runs in the opening inning, but the Wolves' pitching staff shut down North Central the rest of the way. MCC's offense came alive in the third inning, scoring four runs to take control. The Wolves continued to add on and cruised to a 12-3 win.
Game 4
MCC's bats stayed hot in the second game of the day. After scoring once in the first inning, the Wolves broke the game open with a seven-run second. MCC extended the lead to 11 before North Central got on the board. The Pirates were unable to mount a comeback, as the Wolves rolled to a 14-1 victory.
