22-23 NJCAA Region XVI First Team All-Region Award

Alan Romero, a sophomore from Truman High School, was selected to the NJCAA All-Region XVI First Team for the 2022 season. Alan started all 17 games as a center back for the MCC Wolves team. His positional sense and skill with the ball made him an ideal anchor for the back line of defense. Alan also excelled with long range, accurate passes to teammates, which often started effective counterattacks for the Wolves offense. He was the teams dedicated free kick specialist, contributing five goals from the penalty spot this season. Alan is majoring in Business and is currently looking into schools to transfer to in 2023.
