2024 Men’s Season Recap
The Metropolitan Community College Wolves soccer team finished the season with quality results, winning three of their final six games. The team played their best soccer late in the season, with close wins and heartbreaking losses to regional opponents. The Wolves defeated State Fair Community College 3-2 at Paragon Star Sports Complex on October 8, 2024. Msafiri Ebumbe scored the game winner with thirty seconds remaining in the contest. The following game, the Wolves pushed #12 ranked Mineral Area College to the limit before losing 4-3 from a set piece goal in the 87th minute. The team's season eventually ended with a loss in the regional quarterfinal.
The Wolves had offensive contributions from multiple players. The leading goal scorers were Tucker Lawson (5), Daiggen Gaar (4), Aidan Schofield (3), Mazigh Hamchaoui (3), Msafiri Ebumbe (3), Issac Perez (2) and Charles Beaty (2). Elijah Loeb and Leandro Zuniga lead the team as captains, while Khary Hasam, Travis Eddleman and Dayton Garrison split time in goal.
