The MCC Wolves women's soccer team lost 2-0 to St. Charles Community College in the NJCAA Region 16 Final. Both MCC and St. Charles finished the Region 16 regular season with identical 5-0-1 records. They entered the final as the #1 (SCCC) and #2 (MCC) seeds. MCC gave up a goal at the beginning of each half of play in the final. Despite several good opportunities from MCC's Alyssa Guadagnano in the first half, the Wolves were not able to match St. Charles goals. Alexus Phillips and Nneoma Okoro made a combined 14 saves in goal for MCC.
MCC Wolves finished the season 9-4-4 (6-1-1 in Region 16). With the loss in the regional final, the MCC women's soccer program says goodbye to 13 sophomores. Alexus Phillips, Ariana Perez, Norah Wareham, Kaci Singleton, Kendall Marchio, Jillian Mueller, Daisy Romero, Cameron Wells, Meah Bentley, Peyten Williams, Elizabeth Martinez, Rece Paige and Grace Halter leave behind an MCC legacy of 23 wins, 6 losses and 4 ties during two seasons at MCC.
