The Wolves earned a victory over Livin The Dream on Sophomore Day, capping off the celebration with a strong team performance. Devonte Watson led the way with 23 points, while Pierre Smith filled the stat sheet with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals. Michael Smith added 18 points, and Malik McGinnis contributed 15. Ryheem Tyus controlled the glass, pulling down 12 rebounds.
Before tipoff, the Wolves honored their seven sophomores--Devonte Watson, Ivan Ramos, Cohen Kemei, Cobi Johnson, Blake Kilian, Ryheem Tyus, and Shawndale King--recognizing their dedication, leadership, and impact on the program. Their hard work has played a role in the continued growth and success of Wolves basketball.
MCC will travel to Jefferson College on Friday to compete in the Region 16 tournament.
